Scilly inspired names

Dp and I both have roots in the Scilly Isles, and it's a place that is very special to us.

We would like to choose a Scilly-inspired name for dc1.

Our shortlist is:

Girls
Bryher (my favourite, but I'm worried people will think it is a yooniq spelling of Briar)
Agnes (to be nicknamed Ness/Nessa)
Mary (but think it's a bit boring?)

Middle name likely to be Matilda

Boys
Samson
Hugo/Hugh (after Hugh Town)

Middle name likely to be Arthur

Any thought? Please tell me if you think any of them sound ridiculous.

Syllan. Cornish for Scilly. You could have Gugh, Ennor, Tristan, Helen, Tresco, Martin.
I think Bryher is nice and sounds pretty but will get confused with Briar.
Mary Matilda is a bit twee.
