Can you do anything with the name Kenneth?

I'd love to use it as the name means a lot to me but I'm struggling to picture a baby called Kenneth Confused

Is there any similar names or maybe making shorter? Although I'm not keen on Kenny either!!!

I would never have considered it for dc, but now it has been brought to my attention I think it is really lovely.

Kenny is gorgeous. Unusual and a name that will grown baby to adult.
Also you can call your kid anything and after a while people won't question and will just associate it with that person. How many times do we hear "I love the name Mary but I once knew one who peed in my shoe and now I hate it". Do what has meaning.

We chose names which meant a lot to us for our children, rather than names which were nice or in vogue. Never regretted them, much better than choosing a name which we might have gone off later.

Kenny is an ok name (similar to our choice) At least as good as the more current choices of Ronnie or Freddie. But it won't date or be over-common. In fact, it is growing on me already. Go for it!

A fine name.

On a similar note, I went to a quite naice school a few weeks ago where there were two Lily-Maes, a Lilly-Mae, a Ruby-Mae a Poppy-May and a Ellie-Mae and a Linda.

It was Linda who I remembered and Linda who got to take the register to the office because I knew who she was.

It's fine imo. Maybe a bit unusual for a baby but perfectly fine for an older child or adult.

I know a little boy called Kenneth- he gets called Kenny and he's fab!
I also know a Kenzie.

Kenton?
Kendo?

use it. it means a lot to you and its very unusual at the moment. he could be Ken, Kenny, KenKen, Kenzie, Neth, Kenson etc for a nickname
