As a full name or nickname? Is it going to get very popular?

Two. One age 3, one in her thirties. It's their full name.

susurration · 16/06/2018 12:14

None. I love it, especially short for Eleanor.

HappyLollipop · 16/06/2018 10:38

One, she's 7.

LoveInTokyo · 16/06/2018 10:36

Two, both adult.

One is just Nell and the other is Danielle.

I wouldn’t use it as a full name on a birth certificate but it works as a nn for Helen, Helena, Eleanor or Penelope.

Peachydream · 16/06/2018 00:45

One toddler Nell

TheSheepofWallSt · 16/06/2018 00:44

One Fenella\ nell in her late twenties.

I love the name Nell. It’s beautiful.

IveNoImagination · 16/06/2018 00:41

None.

It's a wonderful baby name, but I am biased Bear
I know a baby Nell and a 9 year old plus met one while looking round a nursery last week, about 2 yrs old.

I hope it doesn't become too popular!

Bubblesoup · 14/06/2018 22:30

One five year old Nell.

2 actually. A 6 year old and a 9 year old. It's their actual name, not short for anything.

TrashPanda · 14/06/2018 21:45

One from primary school so she'd be late 20s now. It was her middle name but she went by it all the time, first name was Rachel if I remember correctly.

PaintBySticker · 14/06/2018 21:42

I don’t know any but I love it. If we’d had a girl she would have been Ellen after my grandmother.

Hoppinggreen · 14/06/2018 21:38

I also know a dog called Nell

Hoppinggreen · 14/06/2018 21:38

I came across one the other night - I think she used to be known as Neil

gracielacey · 14/06/2018 21:36

(She's 20/21)

gracielacey · 14/06/2018 21:36

One, in second year of university, it's her full name.

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 14/06/2018 21:19

Just the one - about my age (in her 40s), a librarian with multicoloured hair - she rocks!

Notonthestairs · 14/06/2018 21:17

One. And I really wanted it for DD but was vetoed (nelly the elephant). Sigh. My husband was very worried about nicknames.

Waterlemon · 14/06/2018 21:17

One aged 6, her parents are Polish so I presume it is more popular there.

Lovely simple name.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 14/06/2018 21:14

Two. A 2 year old and a 3 year old.

Amber0685 · 14/06/2018 21:13

One, Nellandra.

NC4Now · 14/06/2018 21:13

My gran’s sister (sadly long gone) and a toddler. I like it.

WanderingTrolley1 · 14/06/2018 21:11

None.

Bellaposy · 14/06/2018 21:11

I have one - she's two. Full name Helena but know as Nell or Nelly.
