Just that really. How many children called Henry do you know and where abouts are you? Do they go by just Henry or are they a Harry or Hank?

Useful site;

names.darkgreener.com/#h

I know loads of both Henry and Harry, aged baby to 10. They are very common names.

I have an adult friend called Henry and know of an 8 year old Henry as well as a 3 day old Henry! I also have an adult friend called Harry but can’t think of any children that I know called Harry, only if it’s a shortening of Harrison

BlackberryandNettle · 19/06/2018 08:19

I know of 5 (under 5 years old), but could say the same about several other boy's names too

TaggieRR · 16/06/2018 22:37

About 5 Henry’s and 4 Harry’s - under 12

namastethefuckawayfrommenow · 16/06/2018 22:31

I own one. Little bugger

MotheringShites · 16/06/2018 22:20

And he’s only ever Henry. Not Harry or Hank. My sister calls him Henners Benners!

MotheringShites · 16/06/2018 22:14

Only my own! Nearly 10 years old and still my absolute favourite name! I re-read The Time Traveller’s Wife over and over because it’s what sealed my decision.

rslsys · 16/06/2018 22:11

DGS1 is a Henry - 14 weeks old!

MummyGoftwo · 16/06/2018 21:11

In only know two. I know it's considered a popular name though. I have one girl and a second girl on the way, but if either had been a boy, Henry would have been our name choice! I think it's lovely, but the popularity of it did make me look for other choices before we found out the sex this time. However, I couldn't find any boys names I liked more - so think we would have stuck with it regardless of the popularity!

HJL2506 · 15/06/2018 09:06

I'm in Essex and know 2 Henry's. Cute name.

IveNoImagination · 15/06/2018 07:45

None

Sarahlou63 · 14/06/2018 23:07

I have one under the stairs and one in the barn. Fab little suckers. HTH.

sosieso · 14/06/2018 23:06

I know 1. He is my boyfriend’s nephew. He’s two and goes by Henry or Henners!

MeyYael · 13/06/2018 13:52

Quite a few. It seems to be insanely popular amongst DH's friends and family from the UK (there are just so many LOs named Henry....)

My SIL's son is also named Henry but actually goes by Harold. (After one of his favourite characters, I believe...)

I also know two boys (one a teenager, the other a kindergartenener) named Henri. One is French and the other German, btw.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 13/06/2018 12:23

About 5 under the age of 3 and hear it without fail every park visit!

twerkit · 13/06/2018 05:41

The Hen nickname puts me off

Belindabauer · 12/06/2018 22:58

2 Henry's and lots of Harrys.

Brie · 12/06/2018 22:52

Quite a few, all ages. Nice name though.

ParisNext · 12/06/2018 22:40

1 4 year old Henry (never Harry) and 1 Canadian 4 year old Hank!

Proudmummy2MA · 12/06/2018 22:38

I know one Henry, age 6 and four Harrys aged between 17 and 4.

LoveInTokyo · 11/06/2018 23:20

I know of a few little Henrys but I think it’s a lovely name.

mistermagpie · 11/06/2018 23:20

None, but it's my DS's middle name (he's 1).

I know millions of Harry/Harrison/Harris's but no Henry!

stressedoutsuzie · 11/06/2018 23:04

One, he's just turned 1 Smile

RedDwarves · 11/06/2018 22:56

Two. One is about 5, one is almost 2. Both are Henry, no shortening/diminutive.

oobeedoiwannabelikeyou · 11/06/2018 22:39

I look after a 4 year old Henry at nursery.
He is ace, a right character.
Never rated the name till I met him, now I love it.
