Another Romy fan here.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 11/06/2018 08:23

Love Romy. (Romana/Romany).
Indya (Indy).

DontMentionTheWar · 11/06/2018 04:13

Not keen on either TBH. Romilly is lovely though. How about Romola?

MeltingSnowflake · 11/06/2018 04:03

Indigo is cool. I was almost called Romy and SO glad I wasn't! Grin

Flaminglingos · 11/06/2018 03:56

I'd think Romy was a nn for Romilly, which is a beautiful name and is a derivative of the Hebrew name Romelia meaning God's beloved one.

FourFriedChickensDryWhiteToast · 11/06/2018 00:33

sorry but I think 'Indie' is an awful name, and so is Indigo. It sounds try hard hipster from 20 years ago.

'Romy' would be nice if it were short for something, like ..Romola.

Imchlibob · 11/06/2018 00:31

I wouldn't use Indigo as a name - too much woo factor from this

jeanzbeanz · 11/06/2018 00:04

I know a Romy and a Romie :) lovely name.
Indigo is cute too. Both great choices

Romy

Bubblesoup · 10/06/2018 04:37

Not particularly keen on either, but Romy is nicer.

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 09/06/2018 23:41

Sorry but they are both awful

Sophronia · 09/06/2018 23:30

Romy

MrsCD67 · 09/06/2018 23:21

Indigo! So cool

TatianaLarina · 09/06/2018 23:18

I think Romy is nice as a nn for Romilly but I don’t like Romey - (ie standalone name pronunciation.)

OliviaStabler · 09/06/2018 23:15

I don't like Romy so would go with Indie, but every time I said it I would think of Harrison Ford (my age!)

Octopeppa · 09/06/2018 22:58

I have an irrational dislike of Romy, so prefer Indigo, even though it reminds me of the word indignant.

Sessy19 · 09/06/2018 22:40

Romy is lovely.

RedDwarves · 09/06/2018 22:38

Romy.

I don't like Indigo or Indie.

Cosmoa · 09/06/2018 21:32

I was also gonna suggest Romily

badg3r · 09/06/2018 21:28

Romy but from Romily. Romily gives the option of Milly instead if DD wants one (not implying that she will!!!)

rebelrosie12 · 09/06/2018 21:25

Yes I might assume it was short for romily which I love

LadyKyliePonsonbyFarquhar · 09/06/2018 21:24

Romy definitely. I'm sure it's a name in its own right - Actress Romy Schneider.

HeyDolly · 09/06/2018 21:24

I like Romily with Romy as a nn. It was on my list but DH has vetoed it. I wouldn’t want Romy as a stand alone name.

Cadencia · 09/06/2018 21:23

I think of Indigo as a boy's name...? So - Romy.
