Is it too unusual for a boy?
Yes from the Robert Galbraith novels, but I think we'll stick to the Cornish giant origin.
DH and I love it, but are we setting him up for a life of "Cameron, is it?" Does that even matter? I have an unusual variation of a more common name and it's never particularly bothered me...
Thoughts? (Rhys as a middle name, if it's relevant)

Haven't read any of the books, but the tv series is fab. I just read it as a slightly unusual but pleasant boy's name now!

I think it looks like a mix between Cormac and Cameron-a bit like you just couldn’t decide. Also, my pregnant brain just keeps reading Korma! (Would love a Takeaway right now...) Anyway, sorry I’m not a fan

First thought was Strike, as I've just read one of the novels. Not keen on it tbh, and I do love unusual names generally.

Um. I don't know the novels, but my brain is picturing him as a bird and just badly wants to add a "t".

What do you see his everyday name as being? Cor? It's a bit of a mouthful.
