Well both the ones I knew were very lovely children, so only have good connotations. I teach in an area where children can be called Evangeline, Temperance or Fokrul with everything in between so would not raise the slightest eyebrow for me.

I quite like Tad. Nickname not decided yet though, I’m interested what you think of the full name? I think it’s a bit too much, personally, but it’s growing on me.

I've taught a couple of boys named Thaddeus - both very religious families. One was only known by his full name, the other was usually Tad.

It's a very bold name, you'd have to be brave to go with it because it'll for sure raise some eyebrows.
However I like it, and Ted is a cool nickname for it.
