What do you think? Is it too much?

I came across it and it keeps coming back into my mind... is it pregnancy hormones?!

Grenadier Guards:

"Some talk of Alexander, and some of Hercules
Of Hector and Lysander, and such great names as these'

Lysander was a descendant of Hercules, and a Greek military and political leader who won the final victory for Sparta in the Peloponnesian War.

I like it as a name, but do be aware that it's very Jilly (main character in 'The Man Who Made HusbandsJealous'

FogCutter · 30/05/2018 21:53

Its super-posh!

Reminds me of a Jilly Cooper novel but I do quite like it! Not sure I'd be brave enough to use it though!

PiggeryPorcombe · 30/05/2018 21:51

Makes me think of Jilly Cooper - the man who made husbands jealous.

I thought of this name the other day and wondered about it! Following with interest.

RoseMartha · 30/05/2018 21:33

Nice and unusual, I only met one Lysander before and he is probably in his 30's now.

Sophronia · 30/05/2018 21:31

I like it!

sonnyboo · 30/05/2018 21:22
