I'm not against using nicknames on birth certificate and I have a daughter with a shortened name already but what can Cece be short for? I really love it Grin

I have a Sienna and she is CeCe day to day... the waitress on First Dates is also a Sienna.

Could it be short for sienna? Or is that a bit of a stretch. I like the name sienna I've not heard it much but I know it became more popular when sienna miller was the woman of the moment Grin

@ellalouise90 Cécé would be pronounced say say rather than see see. The é makes An ay sound.. Not ee.

I know a teenage Cece. I actually don't know what it's short for in her case, but the family are Ukrainian. It suits her an awful lot and makes me quite like it, even though it's not my usual style.

Courtney Cox’s nickname was Cece because her initials are CC. So you could use any two C names and use Cece for short.

I absolutely love the name CéCé is was on my shortlist for DD1 her name was just going to be CéCé however it can be shortened from Cecelia 😍😍
