Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
LadyGAgain · 05/07/2018 13:16

It's likely to be my dodgy clues. Sorry! Confused

I hope this is the clincher!

Michael Bolton famously covered this soulful artists best known track.

FintyTin · 05/07/2018 10:54

Yes please. Totally stumped on this one!!

LadyGAgain · 04/07/2018 21:06

No sorry. Another clue?

throwcushions · 04/07/2018 06:39

Gabriel?

MariaMadita · 03/07/2018 23:14

(also, just saw that it has already been used. Grin. Sorry Blush)

MariaMadita · 03/07/2018 23:07

(Peter)? Probably not but it just seems to fit ;)

MariaMadita · 03/07/2018 23:06

Pete?

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2018 22:48

Thank you for your kind words. Got match heavy too.....

Ok.
One of the arch-angels has a sweet tooth and this one sells so well that it might be banned.

finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2018 22:26

Seconding the request for another clue please @LadyGAgain (and hope you had a fab holiday) Smile

FintyTin · 03/07/2018 19:58

Hope you had a fab time! Smile

Yes please to the clue.

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2018 19:51

Sorry was returning home post holiday. Booooooo.

Another clue?

FintyTin · 03/07/2018 12:35

Bob/Bobby?

finallychangedmyusername · 03/07/2018 12:05

Buddy?

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2018 10:47

Not Robbie

throwcushions · 03/07/2018 07:13

Robbie?

LadyGAgain · 03/07/2018 01:44

Not Billy

finallychangedmyusername · 02/07/2018 21:11

Billy?

LadyGAgain · 02/07/2018 20:21

*one of the fabulous...

LadyGAgain · 02/07/2018 20:20

ne of the fabulous four talked about him a lot. He’s the best friend of the star of the show and a firm farmyard favourite. And...given the World Cup is on... he has over 100 caps and is the top scorer of all time for his team (probably outing him but topical!).

LadyGAgain · 02/07/2018 20:11

Sorry sorry! Only just checking in (final day of beach before the return to Blighty).
Thank you @FintyTin - no apologies needed. I was the one who was being a bit dim.
I'll get back to you all after I've had a think!

FintyTin · 02/07/2018 09:24

Apologies @LadyGAgain, I was trying to make it clearer, not more confusing...and failed. You were correct, though.

“Well-heeled” = posh or aristocratic, so Mrs Beckham or Queen Victoria.
“Excellent connections” was the wonderful Victoria Coren Mitchell - host of Only Connect.
If you cut off her ‘-ia’ you get Victor, and Mr Meldrew was famously grumpy.

Well done and over to you! Smile

LadyGAgain · 01/07/2018 20:00

Victoria? Or if male - Victor? Sorry I'm a little confused about male or female Blush

FintyTin · 01/07/2018 19:34

None of them, sorry.

I will change the wording of the last clue:
“...cut off her ear and you’ll make her a famously grumpy man.”

finallychangedmyusername · 01/07/2018 15:18

Lakshmi?

LadyGAgain · 30/06/2018 21:41

Or Mona!
