finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2018 22:19

Maverick?

DuggeeHugs · 07/07/2018 20:35

Yay! I knew Star Trek would help me eventually @diddl Grin

I was reading about the Roman empire (as you do) and whilst Tiberius was in charge there were two mime riots. The mind boggles.

Anyway, onto a new clue:

Now you know he's of the highest quality you may want him to be your wingman whilst she dances the night away.

diddl · 07/07/2018 20:29

Interested in how Tiberius fits (other than bold captain)!

finallychangedmyusername · 07/07/2018 20:24

Well done @DuggeeHugs Grin

diddl · 07/07/2018 20:14

That's it Duggee

Jean Luc Picard

Jean Dujardin-was in The Artist (mainly slent film)

Jean Alexander-Auntie Wainwright in Last of The Summer Wine.

DuggeeHugs · 07/07/2018 20:10

Actually, I've just read something that makes me think it is Tiberius @finallychangedmyusername

I was desperately trying to make all the clues fit for Tiberius.....WinkGrin

diddl · 07/07/2018 17:47

Not David either.

throwcushions · 06/07/2018 12:41

David?

diddl · 06/07/2018 08:01

Not Charlie.

LadyGAgain · 05/07/2018 21:45

Charlie?

diddl · 05/07/2018 17:29

A bold captain, a quiet actor, a relatively pushy bric a brac seller.

diddl · 05/07/2018 16:37

Farmyard favourite made me think of Percy pig-but then I couldn't relate it to anything else.

Until Percy Sledge!

LadyGAgain · 05/07/2018 16:30

Well done @diddl !

Yes! Ringo Starr narrated Thomas the tank engine whose best friend was Percy.
The farmyard favourite - Percy Pigs - also relates to the arch-angel St Michael and the government last week said they were going to remove all cartoon sweets from sale (good luck with that one!). Robin Van Persie has over 100 caps and is the top scorer of all time for his team and Michael Bolton famously covered Percy Sledge’s ‘when a man loves a woman’.

Over to you Smile

diddl · 05/07/2018 16:05

Percy?
