Last three guesses.... you've all got the right idea - just not quite executed properly! Smile

finallychangedmyusername · 11/10/2018 11:48

Sorry, none of these... clue as requested.

The 2nd sentence gives you a clue to 2 key letters. If you pass on a bypass, what are you left with? Think of the meanings of the word "pass" (try not to take this too literally!)
The first sentence gives you the remaining letters.

finallychangedmyusername · 08/10/2018 20:39

Thanks @LadyGAgain!

LadyGAgain · 07/10/2018 20:28

Well done! And oooh a new clue. Exciting! Will give it some thought and be back....!!

finallychangedmyusername · 07/10/2018 14:13

Meant to add (since I think there are only a few of us playing) - welcome newcomers! Feel free to join in! Guess away at the name being described (in my post above). If you guess correctly then you get to describe the next name.

finallychangedmyusername · 07/10/2018 14:09

Ah ha! I was thinking of Gladys Knight and her Pips as musical notes Grin. Great clues.

Next one below - not sure if this is very easy or very taxing! Guess I'll have to wait and see:

Her name derives from the same place as the man she has eaten. You'd have to pass on the bypass though to complete her.

diddl · 07/10/2018 13:40

Yes!!-Gladys.

I thought it would be so easy.

Happy-glad

three notes-ref to Gladys Pugh on Hi Di Hi.

finallychangedmyusername · 07/10/2018 10:00

finallychangedmyusername · 07/10/2018 09:59

Waiting with baited breath @diddl, I'm so optimistic about Gloria! (I can't get Ding Ding Merrily on High out of my head now) Grin

diddl · 07/10/2018 09:58

Not yet, although Gloria starts with the right 2 letters!

finallychangedmyusername · 06/10/2018 19:28

Gloria?
