Hi everyone!! So after months and months we have decided on a name... and just wanting peoples thoughts... as most people havent liked other names we have thought of. So we have chose and are loving.... Aria-Lily Marie ........ ❤ does it all go? We love aria but felt like something was missing and come up with aria-lily which we think is so pretty and unique... and marie as thats my middle name xx

Yeah we did sit and talk and say she will probably have it shortened to aria anyways... which we are happy with... but we really like the aria-lily. X

Whether you like it or not Op, the name will inevitably get shortend.

In this case I suspect Ari or A-L.

Are you happy with that?

Sophronia · 21/05/2018 12:43

I’m not keen (don’t like hyphenated names and Aria is very trendy). Would you consider Aria Lily Marie without the hyphen?

ellsbells2 · 21/05/2018 12:36

Arianna is nice though.

userabcname · 21/05/2018 12:36

Well I like it OP! Lovely choice.

ellsbells2 · 21/05/2018 12:35

Sorry I don't like it at all. However it is your child and so you're the ones that need to be happy with it.

Both names were on my short list although probably would have gone Lilliana nn Lilly or Arianna nn Aria.

Hyphens are oft derided in MN

No to Aria-Lily Marie.
Yes to Aria Lily (as a middle name) or Aria Marie (as a middle name).
I'd go with Aria Lily, personally, unless Marie is a traditional family name.

Ah yes iv seen before some people dont like names like that!! Yes as in we come up with it and put the 2 names togeather :)

Most people on here don't like hyphenated names OP. Come up with? Sounds like you made it up. That's also frowned on on here.
