I like the name, but don't really like the hypen. I don't see the point of it?
I've taught several children with hyphenated names over the years, all of them have been known as the first part of the name and the second part has become a middle name.

Aria Lily Marie is fine without the hyphen. Aria-Lily is five syllables, which is really long for a name. If you don't hyphenate it, then you can call her Aria as opposed to stumbling over Aria-Lily.

Go with what you want don't worry about what other people think.

It doesn't matter what others think. If you and your partner love it then that's all that matters.

I think it's lovely, exactly that but without the hyphen - they are so commonly used now that they're becoming naff IMO

Those two names don’t work together at all - it’s really clunky! Just aria or lily would be infinitely better

Aria is a lovely name, I don't see the point of adding the -Lilly. It doesn't really go as a first name when you say it out loud and no one will use it in anyway as it's a bit of a mouth full. Better as a middle name.

Lily is a lovely name.

Sorry OP, but I don't like Aria at all and hate hyphenated names.

Like others have said, be careful about asking opinions if you’ve got your heart set on it if it’s going to cause unnecessary upset.

Agree with the majority about the flow of the name with the hyphen - it’s a lot to say out loud.

Incidentally I have a hyphenated name (early 80s) with the middle name you’ve chosen. It’s not been used since I was registered

There is no difference between Aria-Lily and Aria Lily; they sound exactly the same so there's no need for people to say the hyphen ruins it.

I have a hyphenated name and it's completely irrelevant to my life. I think of the second bit as a middle name and my name sounds the same either way.

I'd drop the hyphen and just have 3 names.

Mike, it is pronounced like the word area but with an Ah at sound at the beginning instead of "air"

Love Aria as a name! Has a nice flow to it. Makes me think of an Aria from classical singing and also pretty Aria from Pretty Little Liars if you've seen that? Aria Lily seperately is really pretty in my opinion, but as someone who has a name that could have been hyphenated, but wasn't - it hasn't stopped ppl adding one that's not there -avoid hyphens. Too much confusion growing up!

How do you say Aria and is it the same as Arya? I'd guess it was Ahr-ya, but I suppose it could be Ar-ee-a (arrear?), Ar-ya or Air-ya (area?).

Aria is the fastest growing name in the uk this year (I read this in a naming book this morning!)

I think the double barrel is unnecessary - they make the name really clunky and a bit less classy. Aria Lily Marie (as a first name and two second names) is really pretty - if you then decide you want to say two names when you speak then do so, I'd just suggest dropping the hyphen.

I know a lot of people hyphenate first names now (and each to their own) but I think it takes the class niceness out of each of the names and I imagine as an adult they will drop one anyway...
It's a pretty name. But I'd have Aria Lily so it works for both the child and the adult

Aria is one of the new Eva/Ava type names. I don’t think Aria-Lily flows terribly well; it’s clunky.

I like Aria, but I’ve heard it pronounced both ‘a-ree-a’ and ‘are-ree-a’. Because it’s not very popular in the UK, you have to be prepared for people to say it both ways.

I’m not keen on the hyphen Lily. Lily is very boring and overused IMO. But if you’re happy for her name to be shortened to Aria and you love the ‘-Lily’, go for it.

Aria is a name that is flying up the charts so will probably date badly.
Lily is nice, but Lil isn't.
A hyphen weakens the prettiness of the names and is not considered very classy in this country.
Aria-Lily is quite a mouthful, and will probably not get used in full.
Marie is nice but it seems like another middle name.
I really wouldn't hyphenate Aria and Lily even if you wanted to call her by the two names, and I absolutely would not join them into Arialily

Lily is so over used at the moment and worse with a hyphen. What's wrong with Aria then middle name no hyphen?
