Names for B/G twins

We are calling boy twin Luke as it is a family name for DH. We have two older DDs with two syllable names both with a 'c' in them (like Darcey but not) and would like a girl twin's name along similar lines, but the ones we like I'm not sure go all that well with Luke, specifically:

Luke and
Anna (but think Luke and Anna together sound a bit bleak and Amish?)
Maisie
Camilla known as Milly
Hazel (DH not keen)

Any other ideas? Thanks!

There are names like Elva which are unusual these days

MyGuideJools · 31/05/2018 08:38

Luke and Anna are lovely! it doesn't matter what the initials are. Nobody ever writes down their DC initials.

redmini4 · 30/05/2018 21:38

Anna is nice and Esme from your other list. I don't think having the LA initials is too big a deal. I know families where the DC all have the same initial.

bridgetreilly · 30/05/2018 21:36

Luke and Camilla work well, I think.

feelinginthedark · 30/05/2018 21:29

Thanks for all the opinions - very helpful!

I do like Luke and Anna. Only thing is the first letter of our DDs names are L and A too... so we'd have four kids whose initials spell LA LA Confused

Thoughts??

Ivy is my favourite girls name atm but I think its about to explode in popularity. I’ve heard of 2 little Ivys lately and we’re not even in a trendy part of the country.

Luke and Lacey stands out to me.

Gunpowder · 20/05/2018 22:45

No name advice but I’ve got b/g twins and they are fab. Good luck villanous and OP!

bookmum08 · 20/05/2018 22:44

(unless you actually like the name Topsy then I'm not joking......)

bookmum08 · 20/05/2018 22:43

Topsy. As in Topsy and Tim. I know a few guys called Tim but I have never met a Topsy!!
(I am joking)

villainousbroodmare · 20/05/2018 22:38

Oh no, didn't mean to demolish them quite so comprehensively Blush... Sybil is lovely. Ivy is a plant and also increased a lot lately in popularity afaik.
