Obviously my first paragraph was meant to be ironic! I wasn't going to call baby ds Erin!

I think Lucy is edging ahead op.

Zoflorabore · 14/05/2018 19:26

You must have the same taste as me op as with my first I had the name Erin, that was for 15 year old who was a boy and didn't quite suit Erin and was named Oliver.

I have a 7 year old dd and she is called Lucy. There are only 2 of them in her primary school and I think it's such a pretty name. Obviously biased though Grin

Lucy it's a great name.

Pinkgeorge · 14/05/2018 19:24

Lucy

Lucy. Baby DD's name!

BB2018 · 14/05/2018 19:24

Lucy Smile

Lucy. Too many Isobel's, Isabel's, Isabelle's, Isabella's, Belles, Bellas etc. And I don't like Izzy either.

ZenNudist · 14/05/2018 19:21

Isobel

strixowl · 14/05/2018 19:21

Isobel

AmazingPostVoices · 14/05/2018 19:18

Both lovely names. Both go with Erin.

You can’t go wrong really.

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 14/05/2018 19:17

Isobel

JellyTeapot · 14/05/2018 19:17

Thethingswedoforlove · 14/05/2018 19:17

Lucy

Ellasshitholekitchenpjpiigp · 14/05/2018 19:16

Lucy if your going to stick at 2, Isobel if you might have another!! Don’t ask me why but I feel quite certain about this 😁 (currently 24 weeks pregnant so might have something to do with it)

chorusline79 · 14/05/2018 19:15

Isobel. Really like the Scottish spelling as well.

Chocmallows · 14/05/2018 19:15

Lucy

Frosty66612 · 14/05/2018 19:14

Lucy

mostdays · 14/05/2018 19:14

Oh gosh, I like both very much.

Isobel tips it, just, but either would be a beautiful name for your dd.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/05/2018 19:13

Now I think probably Lucy. Erin and Lucy.

BabloHoney · 14/05/2018 19:13

Lucy

BigPinkBall · 14/05/2018 19:12

Lucy, Isobel has been over used and there’s too much room for confusion over spelling. Trust me you don’t want to go through life saying “my name’s Isobel, no with an o, shall I spell that for you?”

MargotLovedTom1 · 14/05/2018 19:12

Isobel.

formerbabe · 14/05/2018 19:11

Lucy

Pudding01 · 14/05/2018 19:11

Mixed bag so far with Isobel - 15 & Lucy 13!

I think they are both lovely names!! I chose the Scottish spelling of Isobel as from what I've read, it's the least common & I think it sounds a bit 'stronger' Smile

Will it influence your opinion if I told you my 1 yr old's name is Erin? Biscuit
