Need opinions on names

Baby is due in a few months and we have no definite names for him! We have a few we like but none we love. Your opinions would be great! Names we like:

  • Justus
  • Kingston
  • Amaziah
  • Ozias

Personally, none of these names are for me (but that is just me). Maybe Justus or Kingston? Not much help I'm afraid. What about Jason?

Ozias is fantastic. Pp is right that Justus will be misheard as Justice. And Amaziah will be a difficult name to live with I think. Ozias though - love it.

I do like Isiah but one of my close fiends has a little Isiah so I can’t steal the name haha!

Suggestions:
Justus - Justice or Justin?
Kingston - Kingsley? Kingston makes me think of Klingon.
Amaziah - no
Ozias - Hosiah

Of your list I would choose Kingston.

Kingston Jamaica = cool, Kingston Surrey = a bit pants.

That’s all a bit relative unless you’ve been to Kingston upon Hull!

I love Amaziah, a friend just names her son Azariah which is similar.

I also love Ozias!

Justus actually reads as Just us.. So not too fond of it! Kingston is nice too but I think of the place in Jamaica.. Which isn't a bad thing! I just think it's not as nice as Amaziah and Ozias Smile

I think I'm with your family sorry 🙈 Ozias is my favourite, really don't like Amaziah because it sounds like amazing (and as amazing as he will surely be I think it's a bit much).

They're all good, strong, interesting names. My favourites are Ozias and Justus.

Thanks so much everyone :) I’m white British but my husband isn’t so we’re trhijg to find a name that isn’t too hard to pronounce but isn’t too typically English. It’s hard!
