Opinions on the name Gia?

Really love the name, but I don’t know what other people think about it.

I think it could be nice but most UK based people will pronounce it in (a range of) rather ugly versions

I know a Gia, pronounced Geea with a hard G, he's a bloke.

I suppose it could be short for something Giovanna, Georgiana/Georgina ...
