Anya!

I love Lila (Delilah was vetoed by DH for DD1). I didn't realise there was any confusion over pronunciation though - I'd thought Lye-la to be the default in the UK.

Anya is also pretty. Not terribly keen on Zara but it's unusual without being really out there.

Zazia · 11/05/2018 20:24

I like Zara the best

BB2018 · 11/05/2018 20:21

Zara or Anya for me. There’s something lovely and unusual about Anya Smile

greendale17 · 11/05/2018 20:02

I like Anya

Canone · 11/05/2018 19:58

Love Zara, like Anya, but I find Lila and co. (Lily, Layla, Lola, etc.) overused and a bit samey.

daisypond · 11/05/2018 19:56

I'm not keen on Lila. I like both Anya and Zara.

danigrace · 11/05/2018 19:54

Zara and Anya are lovely! Lila nice but nit sure how to pronounce it and agree it's very little girly which may or may not suit her as she grows up

halfwitpicker · 11/05/2018 19:53

Lila.

Aprilmightbemynewname · 11/05/2018 19:51

Zara.
Do like Anya but it's Mrs Clause's name in a film!!
Lila is overused here I live!!

DramaAlpaca · 11/05/2018 19:50

I'd pick Zara.

EllenJanethickerknickers · 11/05/2018 19:48

How are you pronouncing Lila? Lye lah, Lil ah, Lee lah? I would find it annoying to have to explain.

I know a lovely 16yo Anya, my favourite of the 3. Zara is fine.

Lmj25 · 11/05/2018 19:44

Lila

AnyaMoondial · 11/05/2018 19:44

Zara and Anya are both great. I think I marginally prefer Zara but it's really close.

Kornucopia · 11/05/2018 19:38

Zara is a great name

Belindabauer · 11/05/2018 19:37

Zara is my favourite from your list.

BlueTrousers · 11/05/2018 19:36

I like Anya the best
Never sure how to pronounce Lila and also think it’s quite a ‘little girl’ name
Zara is too harsh sounding for me
Anya is lovely for child or adult, I also like the potential nickname of Annie

MikeUniformMike · 11/05/2018 19:34

I'd cross Lila off as it sounds like Lilo.
Zara and Anya are both lovely. I'd probably pick Zara but it would potentially be the last name on a list unless there was a Zoe on it.

RavenWings · 11/05/2018 19:34
  1. Anya
  2. Zara
  3. Lila

All nice names, much of a muchness between them imo. I put Lila last as it could have pronunciation issues (ly-lah vs lee-lah). But I'm nitpicking with that.

Any middle names? If you're using one that might help to narrow it down a bit.

MinaPaws · 11/05/2018 19:33

I like all of them, with Lila best, Zara next and Anya (slightly) less. But they're all lovely names that suit babies or adults. They can be cute or elegant.
