Opinions on the name Avalon for a girl? Do you think people would mispronounce it?
Middle name would be Stella, Jo or Grace.

It's quite unusual, I like it - I pronounced it as

(H)Ave - ah - lawn

Excuse the phonetics! Is that right?

Would you shorten it - or be OK with that happening?

It's a very strong name so not sure if it might be better as a middle name... I love it with Stella!

Roxy Music springs to mind first of all. Great record. But then it just sounds like a topical cream. So no. Don't do it.

Looks like a cream to clear up a nasty rash. I think it would be spelt and said wrong often.
