Well we've finally decided on a name for our little girl x Laura, what does everyone think when they hear it

It's a classic name.
Very popular around 20 years ago.

I think it is a bit dated to be honest. I prefer Lauren.

Re: middle names (poster above), I'm Laura Margaret. I never liked "Margaret" but now I look at it written down it does have a nice ring to it! Aren't middle names usually taken from other family members though?

It's my middle name, I don't like it! If you love it though definitely don't let anyone change your mind. I like a PP suggestion of Laura Jane

I'm not a fan sorry but don't listen to me as majority like it. It reminds me of school days in the 80s when everyone was Laura, Lisa, Michelle, Karen, Debbie etc

I think its a bit dated, much prefer Lara or Lauren. Though its still a nice name. Some middle names that would sound lovely would be:

Laura Renée
Laura Madeleine
Laura Michelle
Laura Jane
Laura Elise

Yes, really nice. Happens to be uncommon at the moment but everyone has heard of it and can probably spell it.

It's a very pretty, but strong and classy name - really lovely.
