Hi all

Would very much appreciate ideas for beautiful girls names with at least 3 syllables that could be described as unusual or traditional/vintage. So far our most up to date list following some ins and outs is:

Annabelle
Arabella
Emmeline (but waiting for DH to veto this)
Elodie
Romilly
Harriet

Be as unusual as you like, I would love to hear as many suggestions as you wish to give Smile

I like Romilly, it was on my list for DD but DH vetoed it.

Ruthshaw1980 · 17/04/2018 21:26

Forgot to add in last post. Both Felicity and Gabriella taken by my sisters for their 3 year and 6 month olds. Both really lovely names.

Ottilie - very marmite my previous poll showed this so has put me off.

I do like Cecily, Cecelia and Celia but my surname is Shaw. Don’t think that would work Sad

Some beautiful suggestions but many already previously discussed and vetoed by DH. These include:

Rosalie
Verity (perhaps my absolute fave)
Penelope
Evelyn
Rosalind
Jemima
Hermione
Francesca
Eleanora
Beatrix

New ones from this thread that I like and will suggest to DH:

Ellethea - very pretty but is Alethea more common? Either way like both these.
Alicia
Athena
Lucia

Please keep them coming no matter how unusual, all suggestions gratefully recieved. Also what do people think of Romilly from my original list. Is it a marmite name?
