Fraser. Beckett is a bit common, and it's becoming really popular, but it'll suddenly lose popularity and sound dated. Fraser is a nice little name that sounds classic, but isn't popular. Only problem with the name is some people would spell it 'Frazer' which would be annoying.

I went to school with a Beckett. He was really cool and it was never shortened to anything silly. Fraser is fine too, but of the two I prefer Beckett.

HerRoyalNotness · 17/04/2018 04:43

Beckett

Pinkcalluna · 17/04/2018 04:26

people will constantly mis-spell and mispronounce it as Frasier - even now when that's not been on properly in years.

Not sure that’s a problem if you happen to be in Scotland. It’s a pretty standard name.

Fraz, is though inevitable. Grin

I prefer it to Beckett though which either makes me think of the murdered Thomas Beckett or of Samuel Beckett and the trauma I endured studying Endgame at school.

Fraser but be prepared for people to say Frasier.
Beckett sounds like Bucket

Plus the nickname Fraz, is horrific.

Vexatious · 16/04/2018 11:59

I prefer Beckett. All the Frasers I know are pesky little brats.

Snowysky20009 · 16/04/2018 11:57

Prefer Beckett- but the nickname Becs or Becky puts me off

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/04/2018 11:55

Fraser for sure.

ErrantBakedBean · 16/04/2018 11:10

I like Beckett but it may well get shortened to Bex, Becky.

FartnissEverbeans · 16/04/2018 10:53

I'm going to be contrary and say that I really like Beckett!

user1498549192 · 16/04/2018 10:45

Fraser, by a long way.
