Help! Ocean/Water names for girls!

Hi! I’m looking for a name that’s related with the ocean or water. I’ve been getting some recommendations, but I still can’t seem to find one that sounds really right to me.
I don’t want the name to be too out there that it’d be awkward to say the name out loud in a Starbucks shop (or for the worker not to have the faintest idea how to spell it). I also don’t want raised eyebrows whenever the name is introduced :(
Here are all of the names that were recommended! Some of them I don’t really like, and some of them are just ok to me. If you think any of these names sounds ok, please let me know!

Coral Cordelia Delphine Madeline Marina Marissa Meredith Nerissa Oceana Tallulah Thalassa

Apart from these, if you guys know any other ocean/water names that you think was really nice, please let me know! I really need the help. Thank you!

@Liz0440

Yeah Kaia is lovely isn't it! Kai is the hawaaiin word for sea. It's always been one of my favorites!

I'm due in 4/5 weeks and wanted this name for my daughter. But we have chosen something a little more uncommon (not that Kaia is common but I think it's gonna be on the rise)

A couple of Irish ones that might fit the bill: Muireann (pronounced mwir-in, roughly English equivalent of Marion or Murren/Maureen. Means 'a fair sea') OR Muirin, which is apparently 'born of the sea'. Or Sheelin - which I think is like a fairy lake (so not the ocean but still quite pretty)

PasstheStarmix · 18/04/2018 07:55

I used to know a Meriel aswell but she really was an awful person so it really makes me dislike the name... Muriel makes me think of Muriel’s Wedding.

Copperbonnet · 18/04/2018 04:20

I used to know a Meriel.

It also means bright sea.

I don't think Daphne's been mentioned yet, she was a water nymph.
Other pretty water nymph names are Liriope, Melite, Tiasa.

Guys you are simply amazing! I seriously didn't expect so much feedback, thank you so much. I'm currently going over all of your suggestions, actually writing them down by hand! If I see some names that I think are pretty but not really my cup of tea, I recommend them to my friends, and so far the responses have all been positive! :) You guys are all super awesome!!
