Henrietta, Matilda, Charlotte, or Other?

Second child. First DD Emily. I had a dalliance with Anastasia for her during pregnancy, but ended up going for my long term favourite name. Don't really have another established favourite if it's another girl. Is Henrietta the equivalent of Anastasia (am I mad)? They all have quite masculine shortenings/derivatives, but with options for more feminine ones, which I like. Only shorten Emily to Em occasionally at the moment, which I wouldn't have envisioned.

I love Henrietta! I can see how it might be a bit ‘marmite’ though...

I think Charlotte 'goes' better with Emily

Annabel
Arabella
Alice
Ruth

Agree with itallhappensforareason. In the "other" category, how about:

Anna
Laura
Jessica
Sara(h)
Rachel
Zoe

I would say Charlotte as I think it complements Emily best. If you went for a name like Henrietta or Matilda I think it would look really "out there" against a name like Emily.

Henrietta is awful. It's so pretenious.

Hate Matilda. Very precocious.

I love Charlotte and Anastasia.

Henrietta is beautiful! Classic and not overused.
