Baby name Kaitlyn or Katerina?

Despite the similarities, the images these two names conjure up are very different!
Katerina makes me picture a graceful Russian or Eastern European ballerina, while Kaitlyn is a loud, bratty American Kardashian wannabe!

If I had to choose I'd go with Katelyn. Although I do like Katrina rather than Katerina.
I know it's not on this list but I love Katrine

I prefer Kaitlyn, of those two, although I do love the name Catherine.

I've also seen Katelyn which I think is a pretty spelling.

I prefer Katrina (without the e) which is really beautiful.

I like them both but prefer them both spelled with a C - Caitlin/Caitlyn and Caitriona.

The K spellings sound a bit “Khloe Kardashian”.

I prefer the C spelling personally. I know a Catarina (Portuguese), a Catriona (English), a Caitlin (English) and a Catrin (American). All nice names.

Kaitlyn is one of those American names that have no relation to the original name, so definately Katerina for me.
