Google confirms it is a first name but will it be judged?

The name Nicol has popped into my head! We have actually agreed on boys names (for future reference) but Nicol has really grown on Me🤔

Ignore me, looks like it's going to be called Noelle now anyway. I thought I would post, as it might be like using the name Elsa for your child just before Frozen was released.

Might not affect your choice at all, but Disney are meant to be releasing a film called Nicole soon. Different name obviously, but very similar.

My daughter has it as a middle name I really love it, we should have used it as her first name.

I've taught a Nicol and pronounced it Nicole.
I like it.

There was one in my class at school (So mid 20s now). She spelled it Nichol though. She was constantly correcting people tough, who called her Nicole

There was an actor called Nicol Williamson, so there's at least one other you can point to as an example of it being used as a first name.
