There's a Hallie (short for Halimeda) in Barbara Kingsolver's novel Animal Dreams, who is very cool, but ends tragically.

I know of one who is 2 years old.
It's ok bit I think I prefer Holly or Hayley (which Hallie might get mistaken for on occasion...??)
