'Scarlett Fekko' certainly has a ring (sounds like a super spy a room hero)! The suppliers' other daughter was Magenta. Definitely a theme going there!

pepperpot99 · 02/04/2018 16:39

There is a Scarlett Fekko, but most definitely also a Viva!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 02/04/2018 14:58

Pepper - I think she's a Scarlet (a supplier called his daughter the dame thing about the same time).

LiviaAD · 02/04/2018 14:56

Roman/Latin 'evening star' I think its absolutely beautiful, it's my sister's middle name.

Bettyfood · 02/04/2018 07:27

I love Eva Green and the character of Vesper Lynd. But unless you want your child to be named after a wasp, I'd avoid.

How about Eva instead? Vita and Hester are lovely too. Vita Sackville-West. Very blue stocking names.

pepperpot99 · 02/04/2018 07:22

Viva is nice, isn't Suggs' daughter (Madness) called Viva?

TempusFugitive · 01/04/2018 22:44

Esther and Vita are fabulous!

Onceuponatimethen · 01/04/2018 09:49

That’s a good decision op - I know it’s really hard when you love something.

If you like Hesper (better, but never heard of this and still not keen myself but not my call) what about Phillipa, similar sound at the end?

Winterfield · 01/04/2018 08:43

Go on, say what you really think everyone! Blush

So it’s a resounding “no” then. I do like Hesper, Hester, Esther and Vita too but can’t use all but the first one. One to think about, I suppose.

It’s a prayer service, not a name.

pepperpot99 · 01/04/2018 07:51

If you are going for a Bond theme then Pussy Galore is an option? Or howabout Jaws?

RapunzelIsHere · 31/03/2018 23:37

OP, you can’t be serious with this name! I love unusual names but that it is just ridiculous.

Onceuponatimethen · 31/03/2018 23:34

Love Vanessa

MollyHuaCha · 31/03/2018 23:31

How about Vanessa instead?

Ginger1982 · 31/03/2018 23:19

My God, don't do it!!

BikeRunSki · 31/03/2018 22:55

Vespa = moped
Vesper = evening prayers, or a type of cocktail
Vesper Lynd = Bond girl with made up name
Vesta = curry

Anxiouschild · 31/03/2018 22:47

How about Vester as an alternative OP? A nice and little-used name IMO. DH vetoed it
I like Vesper but, as with a PP, it's too tied to Bond in my mind.

TossDaily · 31/03/2018 21:54

Vesper was the name of a brand of pantyliner back in the 80s.

AndromedaPerseus · 31/03/2018 21:51

Love it and she was JB’s first love

Uniglo18 · 31/03/2018 21:46

Yes Eva is a good idea and not so much as an obvious Bond reference as Vespa.

Thisisanewbeginning · 31/03/2018 21:40

I like it but would also be concerned about the teasing later in life.

I thought Eva Green was fabulous so I’d go for Eva!

I used to know a Vida in college. Vespa is too Bond girl and also with the scooter reference it's too try hard.

littlebillie · 31/03/2018 21:24

Vespa - evening prayer beautiful.

pepperpot99 · 31/03/2018 21:22

You may as well call her 'psalm' or 'evensong'.
