Still struggling for boys names!

Honest opinions on the name Fletcher for a boy?

OH still not wanting biblical names, and we don't want overly common names, which narrows the choices somewhat!

GayAllen, was just about to post that 😂

I actually know two Fletchers, so it's a normal name to me, though I wouldn't pick it myself. There's Fletcher Christian of the Mutiny on the Bounty fame as well, I suppose.

Thanks everyone. I know it's a surname but in 30 years I've never met anyone with it as their last name so perhaps that's why I feel it's uncommon 😂

I only know it as a fairly common surname and I dislike surnames used as firstnames - sorry

WhyBeDennyDifferent · 16/03/2018 14:31

I don’t like it, sorry. Makes me think of retching.

GayAllen · 16/03/2018 14:30

Norman Stanley.

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 16/03/2018 14:29

It's a common surname.

I like it. It's a little bit different but not too OTT. I know a little Fletcher and it suits him very well.
