Just wondering which name people think is nicer? Elise or Eloise, TIA Smile

Um, no. Not by anyone I have ever heard saying it.

Eleece is the actual pronunciation, surely? Never heard it pronounced any other way.

Eloise. I like Elise pronounced Eleez but not Eleece, which seems to be more popular now.

Eloise. Elise sounds like a car. Loads of trouble usually serious.
Not mad about either but they're OK.
I'm of the age that had a lot of Lisas so Elise sounds a bit dated.

Elise is a bit too sweet for me so I like Eloise more. Would find myself shortening it to Elle a lot though, due to the extra syllable! Wouldn't do that with Elise. Might matter if you're someone who hates people shortening your children's names.

Elise also makes me think of someone tall, blonde and snooty!
