Spring middle name for our baby girl...

With 1 week to go until my DD, we’ve settled on Emilia which we plan to shorten to “Millie” but are struggling with a middle name. I’d like something more adventurous with spring connotations but I’m not a fan of Iris or Ivy and our surname has 2 syllables.

Please help! This is the last outstanding thing on the list before I can relax and wait for the contractions to start 😉

Florence means 'in bloom'
Emilia April and Emilia Rosalie also sound lovely

My mum's name was Iris Emily but she was known to everyone as Millie. She was born in April - never really thought about that before, until I saw your thread.

Thinking a lot about her today - this is only my 2nd Mother's Day without her.

That’s why you’ve been given other suggestions. And no one mentioned grace or mae.

Emilia April? May? June?
Meadow?

Hoppy2515 · 11/03/2018 15:12

I’m just concerned that Rose, Grace and Mae have become standard filler middle names (although I do like them all!) and might be a little unimaginative. For example I was born in the 80s and my middle name is Louise together with a zillion other girls from my era x
