Eloise?

Me and dh love Eloise as a name....can't think of a nice middle name to go with it. Ideas? I like it as I feel it's quite rare too, I don't know any Eloise's. Am I right in thinking this or is it generally a popular name?

I have an Eloise Katherine, I think it goes quite well together, she'll be 4 in a few weeks.

I only have heard of one more Eloise, early 20's.

Uniglo18 · 04/04/2018 21:20

Eloise Claudine
Eloise Evangeline

YoucancallmeVal · 04/04/2018 08:36

I love it and it's also one of my favourite songs (The Damned version). I think Eloise Elizabeth goes quite nicely.

MaitlandGirl · 04/04/2018 02:46

I’ve got an Eloise. Her middle name is Charlotte.

Dixiestampsagain · 04/04/2018 01:18

Eloise was on our shirt list. I teach a lovely girl called Eloise; I think it’s an elegant name.

Castlelough · 03/04/2018 16:46

I just adore Eloise. It would be rare where I live. I have only ever met one in my life so far! I have had it on my list for dd1 and dd2 but dh has vetoed it. I secretly hope for a dd3 and to wear dh down - third time lucky?! Best of luck eith your decision making - what about Eloise Maria? I think that sounds beautiful x

MikeUniformMike · 02/04/2018 11:47

Eloise and Louise aren't versions of the same name.

daisypond · 02/04/2018 11:46

I know a few Eloises - from grown-ups in their 30s down to toddlers. I know several of primary school age. I don't think it's that rare, not where I am, anyway.

IVflytrap · 02/04/2018 11:22

I don't know any Eloises either. I like it - I think it's relatively rare, but well-known enough that almost everyone will have heard of it. It's a lovely, classy name.

I like Eloise Zara, as someone suggested above. There's also:

Eloise June/Juno
Eloise Marnie
Eloise Nia
Eloise Xanthe
Eloise Jasmine
Eloise Harriet
Eloise Karen
Eloise Antonia
Eloise Norah
Eloise Faye

Eloise Anna

RockinHippy · 13/03/2018 16:01

IME it's far from rare, about 2/3 of the Ellie's we've met over the years (which is a lot) are actually Eloise's. If you want rare, I would suggest Heloise instead, I've only ever known one & it's just as pretty a name.

Rose is a common mn here with Eloise, though I think it's just a common mn full stop, but does work well

boomboom1234 · 13/03/2018 15:47

I really like it I only know one who is grown up. I think a one syllable middle name goes well - what about Rose or May?

NameChangeDestroyer · 13/03/2018 15:35

Eloise was 112th most popular name in 2016 so I personally wouldn't describe it as rare, but equally, I wouldn't describe it as popular/common.

Eloise Penelope
Eloise Lorraine
Eloise Edina
Eloise Marina
Eloise Rain

Bluesnail · 13/03/2018 13:55

Eilasor · 12/03/2018 19:49

The only Eloise I know is Eloise Mirabelle. I think it sounds lovely.

Uniglo18 · 12/03/2018 19:46

Eloise Pearl
Eloise Diamond
Eloise Ruby
Eloise Jade

Eloise Grace
Eloise Hannah
Eloise Faith
Eloise Hope

LarkDescending · 12/03/2018 17:32

I know an Eloise Florence.

Cosmoa · 11/03/2018 14:46

Oh I adore the name Eloise!

How about..

Eloise Amelia
Eloise Genevieve
Eloise Maya
Eloise Zara

... Just a few ideas

thegreylady · 11/03/2018 14:39

My cousin Eloise has Daniella as a middle name.

mischiefmanaged01 · 10/03/2018 00:09

I know an Eloise Kate and think it works quite nicely.

I love the name, but the husband vetoed it 🙈

ErrantBakedBean · 09/03/2018 23:53

I think it's getting more popular - I've seen it on here more and more (keeping an eye as Eloisa is on our list). I do love it though.

WhereIsBlueRabbit · 09/03/2018 23:24

How about

Eloise Madeleine
Eloise Rosamund
Eloise Rebecca
Eloise Clare
Eloise Frances
