Like it. Polly is friendly whilst Elizabeth carries a note of English formality - best of both worlds

I won't be hypernating it, it'll just be as it is. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments though. I'm glad to see so many people like Polly as you don't hear it often.

I love Polly Black, but the lly and the El merge together a bit with the full name.

Even if it were short for Penelope with sur name black, ie ''Penny Black'' is that not very memorable, but not embarrassing? It's not exactly Ben Dover or Annette Curtin!

Love it. This is my baby girl name choice. Don't worry too much about what others think though, you will get lovers and haters with strangers as well as people you know

I know the most beautiful woman named Polly and have known her since she was very young. It suits her so wonderfully. I love the name and love Elizabeth too!

However Polly Black is too harsh.
I'd personally hypenate it Polly-Elizabeth
