Iris is beautiful.

TheButterflyOfTheStorms · 04/03/2018 05:06

Iris could do anything.

Daisy can run a hipster coffee shop.

iggleypiggly · 04/03/2018 04:42

Iris. Beautiful name.

Sophronia · 04/03/2018 04:41

Iris

AnyaMoondial · 04/03/2018 04:38

Oooo this is hard! I love both. I think I'd go for Iris on balance because it sounds more swishy and sophisticated, but they are both fantastic.

DazzlingMilton · 03/03/2018 23:27

Iris. Love it

Heartofglass12345 · 03/03/2018 23:26

Iris

I don't think 'Daisy' is a very nice grown up name, and children eventually grow up.

If it's a flower name you're after, Linnéa or Linnea is lovely. It's Scandinavian in origin; the name of a small pink mountain flower. Grin

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 03/03/2018 21:43

Iris.

fatbottomgirl67 · 03/03/2018 21:42

Got to be Daisy
I have one. Iris is a bit spikey whereas Daisy is happy, smiley and friendly

user1486076969 · 03/03/2018 21:41

Neither?

SmashedMug · 03/03/2018 21:38

Iris sounds like a little old lady name but not one of the old lady names that suits a young person too.

Frogthefrog · 03/03/2018 21:38

Daisy. I can't imagine a child named Iris, only a 60+ year old woman.

Littlelambpeep · 03/03/2018 21:37

Going by the ..if your child was to become a high court judge.. Iris

Daisy makes me think of (won't say)

Mumzywumzy2 · 03/03/2018 21:34

Daisy! Elegant and pretty.
Iris makes me think of a frumpy lady

youokayhun · 03/03/2018 20:50

Iris. It's on our very short list too.

ChocolateCrunch · 03/03/2018 20:49

Daisy

ThatsWotSheSaid · 03/03/2018 20:36

Daisy is ok iris is lovely

CheeseTheDay · 03/03/2018 20:33

Iris - although my answer is 100% biased, because it's the name of DD1 (12). I love the meaning of it ('rainbow'), and well, think the name is just beautiful.

Mrsknackered · 03/03/2018 20:31

I think Daisy is a little clumsy.

Mrsknackered · 03/03/2018 20:31

Iris. So beautiful.

TeaMeBasil · 03/03/2018 20:30

I really think both are lovely but Iris for me, the flower is my favourite so I'm a little biased ☺️

You can't really go wrong with these two

coffeeandrainbows · 03/03/2018 20:27

Iris, agree with other posters that Daisy doesn’t seem to fit an adult as well as Iris

heateallthebuns · 03/03/2018 20:25

Like both! I know a daisy who is 5 and an iris who is 60.
