Leo?

I have 1 week to register our little boy... we were so sure we had a name in mind but I came across the name Leo a few days ago and really like it.

What are your thoughts? I hate the long versions so it would just be Leo. What do you think of the name? Is it popular?

Thank you Grin

I loved it for years as I had an elderly relative with the name. It being so popular has put me off a bit.

I have one. Obviously he suits it.
Have come across one or two but not loads.

No issues with spelling or pronunciation.

Also liked Theo.

DreamingOfAHotBeach · 01/03/2018 21:06

Leo is amazing. I love Leon and Leonard too.

What is the name you thought you were going to use?

user1459464195 · 01/03/2018 20:52

Leo is lovely. Since it is so short I like it paired with a longer middle.

Leo Alexander
Leo Sebastian
Leo Augustus
Leo Christopher
Leo Elijah
Leo Frederick
Leo Jeremiah
Leo Zachariah (my favourite!)

It's quite popular yes (not top 10 though).

But that's because it's a great name!

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 01/03/2018 19:52

I like it - it's very very popular where I live, which might put me off a bit, but it's a very good name.

Choccywoccyhooha · 01/03/2018 19:49

It's a really lovely name. I know two Leos, one who is in his 30s and one who is 9, both really nice chaps.

Yogagirl123 · 01/03/2018 19:41

Leo is a lovely name, great choice.

minipie · 01/03/2018 19:35

Awesome name

BonnieBlueButler · 01/03/2018 19:31

I have one. Loved it when he was born and still love it now. It’s a proper cool name. Not over popular round here.

DryHeave · 01/03/2018 19:29

Love it.

justahusband · 01/03/2018 19:28

Great name!

SuburbanRhonda · 01/03/2018 19:24

Leo Blair.

It’s ok but you can’t do anything with it.

BabloHoney · 01/03/2018 19:23

Leo is a great name

muffyduffster · 01/03/2018 19:10

I know two under 3... but one was inspiration for the other (via me when asked for name suggestions IRL Grin)
I really like it!

sonlypuppyfat · 01/03/2018 19:05

No I'm sorry it's awful, I remember a Leo chatting me up once and it just seemed a greasy name

HappyLollipop · 01/03/2018 19:02

Leo is a lovely name it was on my name list for my DS.

MeredithShepherd · 01/03/2018 18:58

My DS is Leo Elliot. I still love it.

Countingsheeeep · 01/03/2018 18:46

Really like it

ChocolateCrunch · 01/03/2018 18:45

It's a lovely name.

Jasquers · 01/03/2018 18:13

P.s. he is 15 months

Jasquers · 01/03/2018 18:12

My DS is Leo. Leo Edward. We love it...and have had many compliments on it....and you can't shorten it anymore (which infuriates me with my name!)
