Which is nicest out of those 3 names? I also like Aurora, Pixie and Wren

My favourite is Florence but it’s just too popular Sad

Blossom - great on a rabbit, not a human.

Effie - I like it in theory but it's just a bit nothingy and insipid as a sound.

Bluebell - no. Belongs on a dairy cow.

Aurora - have taught two of these if popularity is a concern. It's a nice enough name though.

Pixie - cute for a little girl, horrible on an adult. It infantilises her.

Wren - this or Aurora are the best of the bunch imo.

My daughter is Effie (it’s a diminutive) she’s a lively and cheeky toddler with a wicked sense of humour and it suits her perfectly! Not to everyone’s taste but in my eyes it’s better than being a string of Olivias in her class. We have used a more formal name on the BC though for if she feels Effie is too ‘childish’ when she grows up.

I love blossom.. well I want to call my imaginary basset hound Blossom Blush. In fact she’s not that imaginary, as it’s the name of my basset hounds sister. Effie is so sweet too..

My first thought was this sounds like the Powerpuff Girls. I'd go for Florence or Wren off your list.

I like Wren best but Florence is probably the most sensible choice, Aurora is okay. The others are more suited to cows than people currently although fashions change with names all the time. I would pick the name you like best.

I love the names Winter and Autumn too, but she’s due in summer so my husband said no Angry

I’m really sorry but the first thing I thought of was cows too Blush my grandpa had a small herd and those are just the kind of names he gave them!

I like Aurora. I don’t like Florence either I have no idea why it’s so popular!

I love Blossom, Bluebell and Wren from your list.
I know a Florence (age 12) and a Flo (age 14) but I wouldn't say it is an over popular name.

Don’t like Effie sorry but I do like all your other stuff however I would use blossom or bluebell only as a middle name as I think it is very cutesy and could not be taken seriously in some professions.

Florence is lovely but I agee quite popular. Other ideas are Robyn, Heather, Winter, April, Autumn, Amber, Lily, Rose, Flora all of who knows have a sort of ‘nature’ vibe like the others you’ve suggested but are more established first names.

Can you imagine your own name being Blossom? Would you enjoy giving it to reception staff, would you like your GP coming into the waiting room to call you for your appointment "Blossom!"?
