Thoughts on the name Isaac. Isaac Frank?

Love the name Isaac! We'd probably have used it, but there's already one in the family.
Isaac Franklin goes really well (depending on your surname, of course!)

Isaac is lovely but I think Isaac Franklin sounds better than Isaac Frank. Just a suggestion.

Yeah my son is Isaac too. It means he who laughs. Its the best name :)

My Isaac is 6 and suits the name down to the ground. I love it, it’s definitely grown in popularity though and I agree with the spelling thing- he gets really offended if it’s wrong!

Ive an isaac. husband chose it and i was annoyed as i thought it was hugely popular. At soft play when he was a baby / toddler / preschooler there was always another mum shouting ‘isaac!’ And i used to be really irritated about it. Then all the isaacs just disappeared. He is the only one in his school and i very rarely hear the name anymore.

Absolutely love it but agree that it is v popular. It also seems to be a names that people have real trouble spelling so be prepared to see ‘Issac’ a lot.

Francis is much nicer than Frank.

I love Isaac and am called Sarah! I want the name of dc2 is a bit trying to convince DH though!

Oh and I actually went to school with a mike hunt (I shit you not) he wasn’t there long mind..........

I love it Grin but I’m not sure if Frank quite works afterwords. The two Isaacs I know of are Isaac James, and Isaac Thomas.
