Celtic girls’ names?

Lacking inspiration. Looking for something Celtic/Irish but not necessarily “as Gaeilge” and not as common as Aoife/Sadhbh/Caoimhe etc.

Would be a sister to Iseult and Aifric, so something along those lines would be helpful. Smile

Aifric is a very Irish name. There used to be a teen TV show as Gaeilge called Aifric - named after the main character. I know of a couple now in primary schools.

Well OP said celtic, and Iseult and Aifric aren't the typical as gaelige fare

Foolish1 · 23/02/2018 20:11

But if you are Irish why would you want a Welsh name?

CharisMater · 23/02/2018 20:01

Pity! I really like your style.

What about Olwen. Welsh for white footprint i think.

Is Siobhradh / Siofra too popular?
I think it sounds too obviously of the moment next to your girls' names.

Im thinking. This is challenging in an interesting way.

LOVE Aedamair, but unfortunately my sister used it before I could. I will never forgive her.

Like Siún, but last name is far too similar. Not a huge fan of Clodagh or Fraoch.
