Tristan and Tristram

What are your thoughts. I like both but think i prefer Tristram. My mum thinks it's awful though, it is really that bad? Do you know any Tristram's or Tristan's?

I know a Tristram and I can hardly say it. Tristan is a far easier babe to say IMO.

Can't say Tristram...it's a bit of a mouthful. But I'm currently pregnant with DC3 who I now know is a girl, but had she been a boy, he would have been Tristan. I think it's a great name.

Is Tristram actually a name? My phone seems to think that it is at least. I like Tristan, it sounds nice but I wouldn't use it myself for some reason.

I also find Tristram hard to say. It really shouldn’t be difficult, but for some reason my mouth/tongue just doesn’t want to cooperate. It’s clunky and awkward.

So for that reason, I’d say Tristan. Although I think it’s a bit ‘wet.’

Tristan reminds me of the vet in All Creatures great and small who was a fun character. It's a bit of a posh name though, I'd only use it if other kids he will be friends with will have similar names.
