T00much · 23/02/2018 07:58

4, ranging from age 2-10

Timefor2 · 23/02/2018 01:02

4, all aged 1-3 years old and all NN Flo or Florrie

brizzledrizzle · 23/02/2018 00:59

3 between 6-12. It's a magic name, in a roundabout kind of way.

BumDisease · 23/02/2018 00:46

My dad's sister is called Florence. So there were times when Auntie Flo was literally coming to visit...

Blueberry87 · 22/02/2018 20:52

I don’t know anyone called Florence but I absolutely adore the name and would love it for a little girl shortened to Flo, my little boy is called Freddie though so I can’t have Florence and Fred Grin

FlorenceFlorence · 22/02/2018 10:25

Also I get very frustrated by periods being called Aunt Flo. Which is silly I know.

FlorenceFlorence · 22/02/2018 10:23

Also I prefer the full Florence until I feel I know you well enough for Flo!

FlorenceFlorence · 22/02/2018 10:23

This topic comes up a lot, or maybe I notice because I am one!

I am 33, I know OF 2 others who are friends of friends same age as me, and know OF one friend of a friends baby. Have never met another I don't think, but I don't know loads of kids.

It used to be unusual Envy. Also was Envy about Cameron using my name.

JaimeLannister · 22/02/2018 10:22

2 under 3. Both mostly called Flo.

marshallzumarubble · 22/02/2018 10:18

Seven off the top of my head. The eldest is 6, one is 4 and the others are all under 3. Most are just Florence, one Flo and one Florrie. It is definitely one of the most popular girls name at the moment.

MrsDrSpencerReid · 22/02/2018 01:53

I know 3 under 5, they either go by Flo or Floss/Flossy

Florrieboo · 22/02/2018 01:23

My daughter is the only one in her school. She is almost 6 and goes by Florence mostly. I call her Flor, she sometimes signs herself as Flo.

RebeccaWrongDaily · 21/02/2018 23:35

4 or 5? eldest is about 17?
most are 8 and under. Flo/Floss/Flossie

Gates · 21/02/2018 23:33

Only one and shes in her 80s. I know its become popular again but im yet to meet any or know of any personally

Tuttytoffee · 21/02/2018 23:28

1 called Flo, very pretty.

FrozenMargarita17 · 21/02/2018 22:36

One and she's called Flo

ruleshelpcontrolthefun · 21/02/2018 22:35

5 all under 5. Flo or Floss as nns.

mumdebump · 21/02/2018 22:31

Until recently I only knew one Florence from my Uni days - lovely person, always loved the name but now I worry it may be becoming too popular. In the last couple of months, I know of 2 new babies (of acquaintances through work/families of work colleagues) both named Florence. One shortened to Florrie and the other to Flossie and I can't say I like either of those shortened versions.

Groovee · 21/02/2018 22:30

Have worked with quite a few. Only a couple have been Florrie. The rest were Florence.

FancyNewBeesly · 21/02/2018 22:30

I know four Florences, all under 3. And a cat.

windchimesabotage · 21/02/2018 22:29

oh and her name wasnt shortened by anyone.

windchimesabotage · 21/02/2018 22:28

1 who I was friends with in primary school and whom I just thought was the coolest person in the world... and so I now think that name is very cool!

pimlicolife · 21/02/2018 22:26

I know two. I think they are both Flo.
