Just wondering!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hipster iis dead isnt it? At least in London, the beards have largely gone. Everyone round here seems to have given up and just gone solid MC. It's harder to maintain, I think, as the kids get older and you can't cart them around to coffee shops and Marrakesh as easily as when they were more portable toddlers. And talking about braces and grammar schools isnt very hipster.

Agree Isla totes mainstream, not hipster.

Does he have a beard?

No, he attempted sporting one for a while, but it was sparse and very fair, so he gave up on it and caused a distraction with a jaunty hat.

Potteryprincess30 · 19/02/2018 19:58

@mikado1 I really like Barbara too! I hadn't considered it Hmm

MerryMarigold · 19/02/2018 19:26

I know a hipster couple with daughters (both under 5) called Joan and Brenda.

They're hipsters in the sense that she dresses like Velma from Scooby Doo, and he, dressed like an unwashed Lord of the manor, takes his ironic whippet everywhere with him.

Oh, ok. I thought it was coffee-house hipsters where it all started. And now everyone is at it.

Alisvolatpropiis · 19/02/2018 13:30

House

The hipsters will be devastated by that dictionary definition whilst still claiming hipsters don’t exist Grin

MerryMarigold · 19/02/2018 13:29

Names nobody has used in a long time:

Esmerelda
Maureen
Bathsheba
Priscilla (actually one of my fav names)

HouseworkIsASin10 · 19/02/2018 13:26

Hippies wear beards Merry not hipsters.

HouseworkIsASin10 · 19/02/2018 13:26

Nancy is one that springs to mind. It's very 'out there' for where I live, but it's lovely.

MerryMarigold · 19/02/2018 13:25

Have hipsters stopped wearing beards now then? Because that is way past 'trendy'.
