Three, but we were all given the name in the 1950s when it was going right out of fashion.

I've only met another 2. 1 at school and one at work. I can think of a few famous ones 2 Americans and an Australian. All around the same age. I've never met or heard of a younger one.

God. Loads. There are currently 5 of us at work. 3 more in my personal life. 2 more in my immediate family. Countless others over the years. It's really shit. I have never been known just as my first name. Always need some other descriptor. My children are all called things like Harlequin-Harbour-Agamemnon* so they don't have the same experience.

None in England loads in Italy. There is one famous one that people have heard of in this country (think Versace)

I went to school with one but she spelt it a totally different way and I served a customer at work who had the same name, same spelling

Lots. It's been top 100 for as long as the ONS has been collating it.

Most use nicknames, though. I don't, and don't meet many who use the whole thing.

In my junior school class alone there were 4 of us. At high school another 6 or 7. I've never met another one at work though but do know 3 other school gate mums none of which actually use their name, they all use middle names or nick names. I actually really dislike my name.

Only my dm uses my name. DH calls me by a nick name and I'm always shocked to hear someone call me by my name. I keep meaning to pick a new one that I actually like.

I've known lots in my lifetime (my name was popular when I was given it) but right now I think I only know 3. One of them uses exactly the same short form as me and the others don't shorten.

I know more (maybe about 6, not all of them very well) who have a different spelling of the long version, but I don't really see that as the same name, it has a different enough "feel".

Absolutely loads I have a very 80's name even though I was a 70's child. Most people are a few years younger than me although there were 3 others in my year at school.

I think that my name was in the top 4 the year I was born but there were never any others at my primary school or secondary school until year 9 when 2 new girls both started with my name, although they both used a different variation to me (I’ve always just been my full name but they were shortenings). I come across people with my name through work so it’s defintey not uncommon but I don’t have any friends with my name.

None, because I have a stupid first name nobody else chose for their baby because it isn't that nice. There is often a reason names are classics - because they are actually nice names. To add insult to injury my sister's have classic names, mine used to get a Hmm reaction from people my own age when I was young, though it doesn't as an adult, because adults don't react like that to names I guess ShockGrin

I didn't know any at school or college, then when I was 24 I started a new job and there where two others who started within six months of me, since then I've not met any more but I'm the place I work now there is another who I've not seen or spoken too (about 300 people there). My name isn't unusual as in it's a strange name, but I suppose it isn't used very much, with saying that there's been a famous one and a character on a soap with my name.

I have a name that was extremely popular for many years before I was born but then fell out of favour. So five of my teachers shared my first name but none of the other girls. I have met one other woman of my generation who also has it.
