Rex and Rufus sound like posh names to me pupil I used to teach kids in a deprived part of London. Not too many Rexes or Rufuses there

We have a nephew Rex. His mum said Max was a dogs' name!

I would think most boys called Rufus or Rex would have to be complete arseholes to cope with the name. Will your son be attending fee paying schools?

What difference does it make whether the school is or isn't fee paying GrinConfused?

I love all those names! Dog nanes don’t really exist any more IMO; most dogs I know are called Max/Charlie/Luna/Willow.

I vote Rex.

I like Rex! You have to be a bit brave to pull it off but I see it as a cooler Max. Not so sure about Rufus. Rhymes with Doofus which is American for idiot, but friends o know love it
