Miles or Myles?

Miles or Myles?
I prefer the spelling Myles but don't want to look like I'm trying to be different as that's deff not the case! Also middle names??

I know a Miles as a first name and Myles as a surname.

Miles, all day long.
There is something really unrefined and try-hard about names like Myles or Mylo. I know two boys: One Milo and the other Mylo and I cringe every time I see the 'y'.
Sorry to sound harsh. Stick with the tried and true. Don't fall for trends. Miles is a lovely name (it was on my list 17 years ago with DC1!). The Y would ruin it.

I think either is acceptable - the ‘y’ in ‘myles’ isn’t a wacky spelling, and I don’t think it’s not pretentious either; it’s quite usual so go with whatever you like best.

Miles is much better. Myles comes across as pretentious (and I know a Myles - lovely man but saddled with an unfortunate name).
