What do people think of Red or Redmond for a boy? I saw the American Red Gerard win Gold in the slopestyle snowboarding today. I hadn't heard the name before but like it.

I knew one. It was his real name.

FarmerSee · 11/02/2018 19:52

I prefer Red to Redmond, but in all honesty I personally dislike both

mikeyssister · 11/02/2018 19:48

I'm Irish and only know Redmond as a surname. Red would be a nickname in Ireland.

SuperBeagle · 11/02/2018 19:44

I looove Redmond/Red.

I commented on how great a name it was when we were watching Red Gerard.

Use it!

KalaLaka · 11/02/2018 19:37

Nice.

Wasn't it the dads name in the 70s show?

Dizzybacon · 11/02/2018 19:33

My horse was called Red

NewYearNiki · 11/02/2018 19:33

Reminds me of Red from Fraggle Rock

I like Red, not so keen on Redmond

Redmond is apparently an Iirish boy's name. I rather like it!

scampiesandchips · 11/02/2018 19:29

Love it, but prefer it for a girl

Rainboho · 11/02/2018 19:28

I like it!

AmberTopaz · 11/02/2018 19:27

I know one. It’s not short for anything - just Red.
