Emmy and Immy - ridiculous?!

Dd1 has the nickname Immy. We love a name for Dd2 due in 2 weeks that would only have the nickname Emmy. There's no other name we like, but do the two together sound ridiculous?! Hoping you say otherwise but I don't think you will!

I know 3 separate families with an Emmy and an Immy. All are late teens, early twenties.

Emily and Imogen
Emilia and Imogen
Emma and Isobella

How do you use the nickname, OP? Is it a known-name, or an affectionate short version used only by parents and family?

Yes.

My kids have ended up with rhyming nicknames - think Oz and Loz - and it’s ridiculous!

Yep
