Just a post for fun

I’m wondering if anyone had any names they would have loved to have called their DC but either didn’t use it because it was too out there or they changed their mind last minute

Mine would be Rocket - part of me is desperate to still use it with next DC

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Winter or December for a girl

LeonoraFlorence · 05/02/2018 21:50

Seraphina. 5 DDs and still haven't used it!

I love Hester, Misha, and Coco but DH vetoed them all

AgainPlease · 05/02/2018 21:26

Yes @themagicamulet jemima the rag-doll from Play School!! I love Jemima the name too but growing up with Play School I couldn't do it Sad

ranoutofquinoa · 05/02/2018 21:12

Phryne and Lorelai for me and Quade for my DH!

If I ever manage to talk my DH into another pet (do no more kids)! I'll call it Phryne if it's female!

Crunched · 05/02/2018 21:04

Roland was the go-to family boys name. I wanted Diggory but it was vetoed. Now, my boringly named son, is at uni with a Rowrow and a Diggers and I feel I was a bit cowardly.

If I was to have a son now - I won't- he would be an Isambard.

poddige · 05/02/2018 21:04

Balonz.

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 05/02/2018 21:03

@MelanieSmooter we had Etta on our list for DD. Settled on a name already mentioned though - so unsure which was more out there!?

Dozer · 05/02/2018 20:58

Basil!

crisscrosscranky · 05/02/2018 20:57

Scooter for my luckily non existent DS

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 05/02/2018 20:55

Grin lots of the names of my friend's children names on here Grin

TopazPolly · 05/02/2018 20:54

Topaz and Rupert. Not allowed (apparently)

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 05/02/2018 20:51

Malachi. (With hard kye sound at the end not chi-chi)

DH just did this face Hmm and said the kid would have a lifetime of being teased and possibly bullied for his name where we live.

We've now moved and DS is more than capable of standing up for himself so I sometimes do think aah! Wish I had. But he suits his "strong but not too out there" name.

Unevenbeard · 05/02/2018 20:50

Faroukh

Antonia87 · 05/02/2018 20:49

Wilber and Rupert . Husband said the first is a pig and the second is a thick Foxton's estate agent.

MayFayner · 05/02/2018 20:38

I love Bridget, math

It's one of my favourites.

ShuttyTown · 05/02/2018 20:32

Delaney or Anjelica. I do like my DD's name but do regret not going with one of these Sad

MadameJosephine · 05/02/2018 20:31

Antigone, I love tiggy as a nn but it’s a bit too posh for this neck of the woods

Littleraincloud · 05/02/2018 20:28

I loved carys but our surname rhymes with it exactly

mathanxiety · 05/02/2018 20:24

Alice or Bridget. I look at DD3 and kick myself. (No offence to DD).

SuperBeagle · 05/02/2018 20:22

I love the name Wednesday for a girl.

Mainly because of Wednesday Addams, admittedly.
