Amethyst is a nice stone but have you thought of possible short forms or nn as they are known on here?

I love it in theory but I'm not sure it belongs on an actual person, aside from being a stripper stage name. It'd be a beautiful middle name, though.

Lovely name a little unusual but that shouldn't put you off, you might like Emerald, sapphire and Opel.
