Help, we are stuck - we already have an Olivia, surname is a pretty common one, one syllable, beginning with C.

In no particular order:

Phoebe
Verity
Isobel/Isabel
Ottilie
Elodie
Saskia
Clementine (but probably not, due to alliteration).

It does bug me slightly how popular Olivia is, but it was our favourite at the time.

Any thoughts/alternative suggestions on the above welcome?!

Verity or Phoebe

AuntynottheMum · 30/01/2018 19:12

Saskia is lovely! I haven’t heard that name in a while

daisypond · 30/01/2018 19:02

Phoebe, Verity and Isobel are very nice, but Isobel (and its variants) are very popular now. I like Saskia, but I'm not sure it "goes" with Olivia, if that bothers you. I like Clementine as well - but how will you pronounce it? I don't like Ottilie - though it's mentioned on here quite a lot, so it must be pretty popular. I think Elodie is twee, but it is pretty - again, I don't think it goes with Olivia.

RavenWings · 30/01/2018 18:38

Phoebe - it's ok
Verity - so beautiful
Isobel/Isabel - meh. Overly popular.
Ottilie - too matchy with Olivia. I'm not a fan of having same initials.
Elodie - also lovely
Saskia - pretty, but Elodie and Verity are better imo.
Clementine - no.

HuskyMcClusky · 30/01/2018 18:35

Saskia, even! Don’t call her Saskatoon, frickin autocorrect! Blush

HuskyMcClusky · 30/01/2018 18:34

Saskatoon. Or Phoebe. Don’t like the rest.

Meemzinha · 30/01/2018 18:32

Saskia!!! I wanted it for mine but my boyfriend isn't sold on it.. Other than that I think Elodie is very pretty too.

AnyaMoondial · 30/01/2018 18:19

I like Phoebe. Saskia is ace.

FizzyGreenWater · 30/01/2018 17:11

Saskia

GlorianaBanana · 30/01/2018 16:42

Phoebe or Saskia

Babykoala1 · 30/01/2018 16:42

Mine, my sisters and the name I was going to use for my daughter is on your list 😊
(The name I was going to use for my daughter was Elodie, I think it's a beautiful name)

ChocolateCrunch · 30/01/2018 16:23

I love Elodie, but agree she may become another Ellie. Like Saskia and Clementine too.

Phoebe and Isabel are very popular, but not sure how much this bothers you?

Ottilie, I'm not sure about. Never liked Verity, sorry, just hear Variety.

NoSwsForYou · 30/01/2018 15:59

I love Elodie but if it’s shortened to Ellie then you’ll have two very popular names.

Phoebe is pretty, as is Verity but Ottilie is my stand out favourite, you could have Tilly as a nickname

SoFancy · 30/01/2018 15:57

Phoebe! Lovely

MikeUniformMike · 30/01/2018 15:54

Phoebe - love but don't like Feebs
Verity - Ferrety
Isobel/Isabel - Isabel's lovely but very very popular. Don't like Izzy
Ottilie - No. Makes me think of Otters or Utterly
Elodie - No. Too trendy and likely to be much more popular than you think.
Saskia - Yes. Sass as a possible nn is good too.
Clementine (but probably not, due to alliteration). - No. It's a fruit.

Saskia or Phoebe, with Saskia being my favourite.

Jammycustard · 30/01/2018 15:50

Verity

DiegoMadonna · 30/01/2018 15:49

I love Phoebe!

user1485182339 · 30/01/2018 15:34

Olivia and Verity. I love Verity.

namestress · 30/01/2018 15:33

Ok maybe that's not 10! I've discounted a few, courtesy of my husband...

What about Ebony?

Elodie is quite pretty.

Pheobe I just think of the annoying character from friends.
